Weekend with cousins

Gus gets so excited when we have friends and family over. This weekend, Rachel and the kids came to stay with us and it was great to see all the tiny cousins interact. Baby Atticus is super handsome:

We had a few of Calvin and Rachel's cousins over for supper on Friday night. I made chili and an enormous corn bread:

Saturday we walked to the park and tried to get pictures of all three kids with their grandma Carol toques. We were semi-successful:

Gus was so tired after everyone left this morning that in the middle of a nap he woke up and then snuggled in and slept an extra hour! 

Christmas prep 2014

Wow- it has been an incredibly busy December with a wonderful last minute trip to Bellingham where Gus got to see cousins! We got home in time to visit with   grandpa Chuck and Grandma Carol and to meet Gus' newest cousin, Atticus!

Then last night we picked up my Dad from the airport and are preparing to drive to Phoenix tomorrow to meet up with the rest of my clan. Here are a few pictures...
